This is the final textbook in the series of Russian as a Foreign Language by Nina Vlasova, which is designed for high school students of upper intermediate/advanced level.

Advanced Course 2 corresponds to TORFL level II (CEFR B2) which provides:
6,000 words vocabulary which meets the requirements of the 8th grade in a Russian school;
an introduction to Russian classics and modern literature (adapted);
knowledge of the whole Russian grammar;
an ability to hold a conversation on any subject apart from the professional and scientific ones;
an ability to recount the main ideas from texts on any subject;
an ability to write a summary of a text and a short essay. In written assignments students are allowed to make a few mistakes which don't affect reading text and comprehension.

The students who finish this course successfully can pass examinations on Russian as a foreign language when applying to higher educational establishments in Russia.
