The October 2017 Experience. How They Make the Revolution.

In his new book a historian and one of the Left Front members Alexey Sakhnin describes the Bolsheviks' great success in 1917, when from a little-known and ineffective party they transformed into a leading revolutionary force and achieved victory in the October Revolution. He proves that despite the widespread opinion nowadays, the Bolsheviks weren't conspirators, who seized power after the putsch. Sakhnin provides the materials witnessing the Bolsheviks found a great support in people: as strange as it may seem, they were the most democratic party at the time. That's why the author asserts "what they called at their age "the revolutionary populace creativity" provided incredible energy that let make unthinkable transformations and change the course of world history".
