This textbook is part of the course "Russian Language Today. Elementary Level+ (A1+)" designed for adult students learning Russian as a foreign language.

This is an intensive communicative course which allows to cover the basic topics in grammar and vocabulary within a short period of time. And based on these topics, it facilitates the reception of the spoken language and written texts as well as it helps students start speaking and writing in Russian without any mistakes. The course includes materials which slightly exceed the requirements for the Elementary level. For instance, it provides a lot of cases values as well as paradigms of adjectives endings of the oblique singular. Also, the course covers an extensive range of verbs of motion meanings, and certain topics in syntax and vocabulary are examined in full detail. Hence, the authors have defined the level which students will achieve after the present course as Elementary+ (A1+).
