This dictionary contains lexics of the last three decades, which are not presented in academic dictionaries, including the dictionary by Ozhegov. It includes about 8,500 words and expressions reflecting practically all areas of modern life. Each entry contains explanations, examples, encyclopedic information, stylistic characteristics, etymology, synomims, antonyms, different variants and idioms. The dictionary was prepared by the Institute of Philological Studies of the St. Petersburg University.
